Work Experience

  Freelance translation for national and international translation agencies and private clients:

• Translation from English into Spanish of birth certificates.
• Translation from Spanish into English of a socio-economic text on soya expansion in Paraguay.
• Translation from Spanish into English of a Center for Documentation and Reasearch on Children and Youth Literature Project.
• Revision of a technical text translated into Spanish.
• Several translation projects from English into Spanish: Bill of Client Rights; .ppt presentations on healthcare, medical histories, allergic reactions, first-aid kits, sexually transmitted diseases and HIV, aspiration and choking prevention, flu and cold prevention, kidney infections, germs and diarrhea, diabetes and winter, hipothermia and frostbite, wildfire smoke, immunizations; family and parent handouts (more than 14000 words translated); Elizabeth Grant's cosmetic catalogues, advert for ballot boxes and several forms on the Aging at Home Strategy of Toronto Central Local Health Integration Network.
• Several translations from English into Spanish of user intructions for spotlights, baby bottle sterilizers and wall-clocks; assembly sketches for TV mounts and an Artin race set, and videogame reviews for: Tabula Rasa, Call of Duty 4, Quake Wars, Stranglehold, Super Mario Galaxy, BlackSite, to cite but a few.
• Several Webpage translation projects and Webpages updates (24-hour turnaround) from English into Spanish.
